How Common is this amongst JW's?

i found this material on a pro-jw newsletter, and i've had this personal experience myself and know many others who have also.

before i became a jw i experienced a tremendous amount of "love" from the congregation i associated with, but once baptized they leave and move on to the next potential convert.

as a single person, i was never invited out to gatherings very much and always felt a little left out in the very clique-ish congregation that i attended.

I am from Sweden and I can tell u that this is very common in my Country and ofcource everywhere. I have been in 6 different congregations during my 44 years in JW from the North of Sweden to the South.It is very easy to be left out,like the way u experienced.Many are those that been through that.

It is sad to admit that it is often that it needs that one already done something "bad" to get the attention from the Elders when they are Blind and dont rush to help when one start drifting away. Ofcource not every Elder are like this,there is alot of good ones out there but its always like a lottery.If u are lucky then you are in a good C. but if not u easily get punished instead of getting help in time from

Elders that have real love to the flock.

About been Ignored:Yep that have happend to me and my Family many times just as the example said. It did happend especially after I did step down as an Elder 1990.

Now I am out since 1 month back so I dont care anymore.My wife is still in but she havnt heard one word from anyone since 30 May ( she have not been to any meetings since my D.F.) but ofcource nobody cares of her needs. Many JW they dont have real love in their hearts,its just a mask on the outside.

i have been a lurker for quite some time now (3 years maybe), and i vist the site a few times every couple of months.

however, a situation has presented itself and i need to talk to someone.

Pick a Sin, any Sin.....

ever notice how witnesses seem to have "selective sins"?

last i knew- gluttony was a sin, and to be avoided, yet so many witnesses are overweight!

they just think the end is coming, why be healthy, why lose weight, why work out, blah blah blah.

There is alot of sins going on outthere in the hall.Especially among the Elders.I would say that if you could get all the Elders around the world standing on a line and then each of them truthfully spoke up about what they all done secretly in their homes,at work or in their lives as JW then 70% of them would either be D.F. or have to step down as an Elder.

I know of many things and way of livings among Elders (secretly ofcource) that if it was revealed then they would surely get punished.(but I wont tell anyone,lol).The problems is that they can sit themselves and judge people,brothers and sisters for something that they themself are doing secretly!!

What an Hypocrisy! They have their own bag stuffed with sins (that they hide) but are quick to reveal others and then judge them. I was an Elder for many years so I know what I am talking about ( I was not better than anyonelse) I am now D.F. since 1 month ago and its amazing how clear one can see things now when one am out from JW.

HELP-I'M ADDICTED!!

Hi MELISSA!!

Well its easy to get addicted to anything concerning Internet! I am mostly out there 5-6 hours everyday when possible.And this Forum,I must say have helped me out alot.Got some new friends from my country and they have shared me their experiences concerning JW and they have helped me to continue my life.

So this place is a great place to visit whether one is still a JW or out from them.

we have a bigg artikel in km abot our wuie on how to treat them in diffrent situations, not so much new things, but they confirm this harder treatment on dfd, as we have 1981.. not so happy for this, i think it is a bigg misstake to dont take this occasion to change to some more loving wuie.i can not follow why they do like this perhaps they are draw this to the end of the lione, but who are take the punnish for this, if not the averge jw, who i think dont like this so very much.. so i can not follow who they think, perhaps we have wolfs among us, who hurt ther members.. .

JW Bus Accident on Way to Convention

it begs the questions:.

how many on that bus were happy that they either didn't end up going to the convention or got there late?

(i would have been happy!!!).

LOL to everyone but ofcource I am glad that nobody got seriously injured!

But its a waist of time to include, lets say in the prayer after an Convention to Jehovah that he should protect you when going back home,because he doesnt!! If there will be an accident then it happends either because bad luck or because of that person being careless.

There is alot of proof that its a fact that u are on your own.

YES! I AM FREE AT LAST!

i just got out from jw bye a d.f.

4 weeks ago after 44 years as an active jw.am i insane or why am i having that great feeling of freedom??

i am sitting here infront of the computer having a cold beer and just enjoying life.shouldnt i be crying and having a depression sitting here in tears over missing all my jw friends that now are vanished??.
